Its a rhino rush, short range army with 14 melta guns, 11 flamers (including winds of chaos) and the 2 vindicators.
The Sorcerer rides with the chosen and the oblits and termies stay in reserve to drop off one of the icons.
I just need to convert up the termies and paint some melta gun guys and I got it.
Good? Bad? Ugly?
What u think?

Nasty list dude, but totally in your methodology. I like it alot. If you need some termies, I might have a few lying about for ya.

I like it.
It would be interesting to drop the Oblits an replace them with a Land Raider and see how that plays. Adding a LR would give your termies more versatility, and the Oblits seem somewhat redundant to me.
Obliterators are like the Happy Meal of the Chaos Codex. It's a unit that kind of covers all the bases, but is so obvious. . . and uninteresting.

I hadn't thought about the land raider idea.
interesting...
I feel the obits are necessary because of their versatility and their ability to draw fire especially away from the meat of my army: the rhinos.

Well that's a good point, Oblits are pretty tough and with 2 wounds. But people aren't necessarily going to have to choose, since the Oblits are going to be almost the only thing you have to shoot at with strength <6 weapons. So if you dropped the Oblits (or walked on) against my guard, I would fire every lasgun, shotgun, grenade launcher, and mortar in range on them to try to wear them down. And my heavy weapons are going to try to bust the Rhinos.
But I could see where you'd be forcing my vehicle heavy weapons to choose -?
But I would argue that since you're running 5 Rhinos, you've got those bases covered.

I'd swap out two meltaguns in one squad for plasma guns. It makes the unit a good stand off squad at range, perfect for holding a home objective. You can still use the unit to roll up and shoot somebody, double tap even, but you won't be wasting good bolter fire on a target that they can't wound.
Busting tanks is for meltaguns, busting infantry is a job for the plasmagun, especially in a large squad with boltguns.

It would also give you the assault out of it capability, not to mention something that can screen your rhinos. It also puts out 2 more lascannons and a HB for ya to blast peeps with. Interesting idea.
