While watching my favorite movie for the millionth time, I couldn't help but notice that Ripley was packing a combi-flamer! After watching the sequence of events at the end,  I couldn't help but think "damn, bet she was glad she spent the extra points on that combi-weapon" and then began to choke on my drink from laughing at my own stupid joke.

Tri flamer, I think.  Didn't her build have a machine gun, flamer and grenade launcher?

You're right though, kickin ass!:)

I've got a female guardsman model in tank-top and fatigues with grenade launcher.  I can't remember if it was originally from the old Catachan series of metal minis or not.

But if you could strip that grenade launcher from her hands and slap a combi-flamer in there, she's make a a kick-ass 'Ripley' model.

There is a Latina chick that takes my Bodypump class; I call her Vasquez.

At least, thats what I think think the name of the Latina chick with the heavy machine gun was who gave Hudson crap and made it almost to the end of the movie before she and the Lt. bought it.

Yeah Vasquez and Gorman, both took the grenade train in the end. Nevermind the fact that I was drinking when I came to this  conclusion but it was just the manner in which I said it to myself that made it so damn funny.

I have seen some people try and theme out a guard army with the colonial marines in mind. Some look better than others, but this conversion is the best I have seen yet in terms of conversion...

That's actually a pretty cool conversion.
