Brother Marshal de Molay, Commander, 3rd Crusade (Left Battle):

Sir,

Landing Zone Hot.  Heavily outnumbered.  Enemy is well dug in. Area heavily mined.  Appears to be abandoned garbage dump.  No sign of Space Wolf strike-force, or 69th Mordian Regiment.  Medium to Severe casualties.  Brothers de Mamedune, Widekind, Joseph, Turvile, and De Saint-Michel all KIA.  Request additional Squadron.

Brother Castellan de la Tour, Commander, Squadron A

Georges,

I will attempt additional communication with the Space Wolf strike-force, asking for thier assistance.  I'm still waiting on the 69th Mordian Regiment.  I will send down an additional Squadron.  Hang in there George.

367042M.41, 0818 hours: As Mordian reinforcements do not arrive as scheduled, Templar and Space Wolf forces launch a joint offensive to find a weak point in the Renegade defense of Kalkovac. Hoping to break through to the spaceport, the Imperial forces throw everything they have into an all-out assault on Renegade positions southwest of the capital.

So, are we looking at some kind of Breakthrough or Bunker Assualt type of mission?

Or are we just going to wing it like we did last time with those cool random objectives/deployment scenario rules???

While I may agree that E-Company could use it's own area here in the Forum, I'm perfectly happy for us to simply hijack the Lost and Damned board and work out of there.

Let's face it, nobody else is using the Lost and Damned area, and to tell the truth, I often feel both lost AND damned in many ways (and oddly proud of it too).

Is that Jeppy's cat?  Bitty?

I have to say, that Avatar is pretty funny! :D  I love the jester's hat on it, and the cat's "Meh..." expression.

Yeah, that's Bitty.  I suspected she was sneaking out at night.  I caught her coming back in through the window at 4:00am, drunk, smelling of Tom-cat.  I took the photo to prove to her, when she sobered up, what a foolish slut she is.  Good thing she doesn't have hands, or she'd be taking my wallet and spending all my money at Denny's at 5:00am.

This all looks very cool.  Nice maps.  Maps make the difference.

40,000 years into the future, they still make tables out of cheap Malaysian hardwood.

Oh yeah.  And there is only war.

If any of you guys are in town in Milwaukee on the last weekend in July. let me know.  I'm probably having an apocalypse game in my basement that'll last two days.

The grey Arvus Lighter set down in the dust clouded dawn.  A single servitor in crimson robes strode unwaveringly toward the HQ barracks of the Space Wolves, the rosette of the Inquisition clearly displayed on the servitor allowed unquestioned passage by the pickets set before the command center as the servitor entered.

"Astartes Coldblood- your insolence has been recorded in the Imperial Annals of his Emperors Holy Inquisition- the fact that the Emperor's Holy Inquisition requested your presence should be all a loyal Astartes needs to respond."

"If it is His will that the reasons for your presence here are required by you, all will be revealed.  If furtherence of his Holiness' will is not enough reason for action by the Wolf Chapter, then perhaps yet another check mark should be added to the Hereticus column of the fringe Space Wolves Chapters annals?"

"Lord Nihilius will not tolerate any further threats from you to his staff.  May I relay to him that this is understood and that you will pursue your mission here on Kalkovac without further delay and will be carried out as your loyalty demands?"

"My Lord awaits your response."

This isn't just an event, this is a campaign!  It should last for months, move out to the east coast and join us!
