Historicon is July 24th thru the 29th.
It's being held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which I'm guessing is about 1.5 hours west of Peter in Philly and probably a little over 2 hours north-east from where i'm at in Maryland.
Dave? Peter? Should we get a plan together? My friends who move out of Philly and into the country should only be about a half hour to 45 minutes away from the convention. Maybe i could convince them to let us crash in the basement that saturday night or something?
Anyone else interested? This is supposed to be THE historical gaming convention in the U.S.

| Ben C. of Milwaukee and Jim D. of Milwaukee are going for sure. Both are good guys, and if you don't know them, they showed up a couple of times at big games and watched. Ben has his own small miniature company...Pontoonier Miniatures...and I'm spelliing that for shit. I'm probably going to work Ben's booth. So I'll most likely be going. I was going to take a train or bus, but if someone want's to pick me up, I'll help with gas...Steve? I've looked at the schedule, so far no 40K, but they usually have a game or two. No roleplaying at all. It's a pretty cool con. Just looking at all the miniatures and game tables is cool. The dealer's room is great. And most of the people there are pretty cool, not many kids, mostly guys 30+. Gettysburg is close by, and last year we found a trashy MILF bar with old sluts looking for a stuffin'!

Cool. I'll make sure I have a place to crash at my friends' place in Pennsylvania. If there's hotel space available, great. If not, I'll have my friends' house to stay at.
I think right now, I'm planning on arriving saturday noon-ish. And then leaving sunday late afternoon/early evening.

What days do you think you'll go? Where are you staying?
I can ask my friends to put us all up at their place about 30-40 minutes from the Con if need be. They have an extra room and a large carpetted basement (with a bar!)  .
Right now I can't decide between driving up to the Con Friday night or early Saturday morning.

I'll be staying with Ben, so I won't need to crash with you Steve...but thanks. I can't guarentee there's room for you guys, but I can ask. I probably won't be playing a lot during the day, because I'll be working a booth, but I'll be free at night to drink and go to the all-you-can eat Amish buffets.

Okay fellas, Historicon is only two weeks away. Is there a plan for this, or what?
I'm waiting on a response from my friends who live about 45 minutes away from the Con to see if I can stay with them.
Peter, do you need a place to crash?
Dave, you are staying at the hotel, yes? Have you asked about the possibility of friends staying with you?
When do the two of you plan on being at the convention?
I'm struggling with the idea of going Friday night and leaving sunday, or going early saturday morning and leaving sunday.
*- Also, this might be a good time to get in another Kalkovac game!  (smaller one this time though )
