Steve, that might take the cake for the most obscure sci-fi dork reference uttered by D Company.  I'm tempted to sticky this for posterity too.

It's sorta funny you say that, because I swear right after I posted that I thought to myself, "Good Lord, that might be the dorkiest thing I've ever posted."

Its certainly close to the top of the list of dorky things I've heard you say, and I've heard you say "turbo-laser destructor" which in my opinion is one of the dorkiest things anyone can ever say.

But is it dorkier to say it, or to instantly get the reference, implicitly and without having to think about it for a minute.

Yes, we're all dorks.  Now that we've figured THAT out...  :P haha!

Do we have a plan for the game?  Does Dacio have an actual Ork codex?  Or is he still using that photocopy set that is missing a page or two?

If there are five of us, might I suggest we do 2400 points a side?  With two 1200 point lists on one side and three 800 point lists on the other?  We could just bash the org. chart to require only ONE troop choice for each of the 800 lists.

Actually, that sounds kinda wonky.  Any other suggestions?  I'd like to get started playing ASAP so we can get to Lee's early.

(btw - Chris, Shannon requests your presence at Lee's - and is actually pretty excited to see all the rest of you clods there as well):)

If we get done early enough, I'll stop by lee's, but I have to get to work, so I'll probably have to throw myself out after one beer.

You and dacio vs aj me and jake? 800 points, no force org?

is that the plan? is aj bringing minatures or did he get drafted into the salamanders?

I think he may have been drafted into the Salamanders. ;)

I have no idea what the plan for the game is... I've tried calling Dacio without success.  Seems to me like maybe the guys who live in Milwaukee could all call each other and figure out lists and models and such...

...but hey, what do I know? :P;):P

LOL :D

To be fair, I think I had been pointing that out before I left town. :P:D  ...and to be even MORE fair, I have to admit that i've done my fair share of flubbing things up now and again. ;)

I think we should do Orks (and Steves) vs. Whatever chaff the rest of us bring.

I can't remeber if AJ is bringing anything but I will found out before the game and we will figure it out.

I also say we just bring 1,000 point lists to make it easy and have a set end time? Say 11pm!

    I'll bring lists at 800, 1000, 2000, 2500, and 3000 for salamanders.

I agree with Jake, we should just play until 11. That'll leave time to go grab a drink before I have to goto work.

Steve  or Steve, call me when you're ready and I'll head down to Dacio's house.
