ok guys, here's da deal
da weekend of NOV 15+16 the wife is outta town and i got the whole house to myself DALECON is on.
the address is 28901 sunflower lane,waterford Wi 53185
my cell is the same as always,PM me with ?'s
2000pt games,no format, at least 5 tables,food,drink, I've got rooms for sleeping,XBOX,basketball you name it.

For added carnival atmosphere you should build a huge Khorne berserker head that will go over your garage door so that all who enter have to enter through a chaotic blood thirsty mouth.
In fact you could also have a resovior of fake (or real) blood that would sprinkle down on top of the guests.
Just a thought...

I highly endorse this event. From my summary last time this happened:
Game 1: Derling's Eldar vs. Lord Boroth's New Chaos Iron Warriors. Cleanse Mission. Eldar have what is described as a "smashing victory." Lord Boroth goes back to the drawing board with determination in mind...
Game 1.5: Stormcaller56 vs. Ben, a Marines v Marines throw-down. I think Ben lost this one... or maybe it was a tie. There were alot of "drawn combats."
Game 2: Dale's Chaos vs. Seti's Eldar. "Kill the other Guy" Mission. Eldar squeak out a close win.
Game 3: Joe S's White Scar Marines vs. Pen dull's footslogging orks. Loot mission. Tie game, despite orks getting MOWED down underneath the bridge...
Game 4: Dacio's Orks vs. Twaimn's Guardsmen. Recon mission. A tie by a spread of only 23 points.
Game 5: Lord Boroth's Chaos vs Wolf Man's Space Wolves. Cleanse mission (I think). Tie again, one objective each, one contested.
Game 6: Twainm, Derling, and Seti play an experimental "Soccer Match" kind of three-player confusion, and then mutter endlessly about meta game theory until the Packer game comes on.
Game 7: Dale and Dacio Chaos vs. Stormcaller56 and Ben's Loyalist Marines. I think this game ended early, but every time I walked over there it looked like Dan and Ben were getting the shaft.
Game 7.5: Joe S and HeavyLeadBelly vs. Lord Boroth and Pen dull. Joe and HLB pound the hell outta the Chaos and orks turn one, and it is given up upon at middle of 3. Mark goes looking for another game.
Game 8: Lord Boroth and Dale vs. Dacio and Pen dull. Whuppin exchanged on both sides. We might have been able to tie at turn 6, but after watching the Packers lose we kinda puttered out and admitted we were too drunk to tell.
Then we watched boxing.
So really even though some of them didn't finish (or didn't need to), 10 games were played. An estimated 50,000 points deployed in the whole afternoon!
Don't miss out this time!
SO I think everyone should show up again. His place is really nice, and it is only a little bit of a drive out there.
If anyone wants to play some sort of "Orks vs whoever" game one of those days, we could arrange such a thing. I was thinking also of inviting every ork player into a "battle at da big kamp" warboss brawl.

looks like i have to pass on the RTT going on that weekend in Milwaukee...i WILL NOT miss Dalecon!!

thanx for the rousing review I had a lot of fun last year!
It would be a good idea to have a huge battle at the big camp to set up the main warboss for Eau Claire(even though Joseph is at fat camp )
However as always, just bring whatever you want to play. this one is gonna be 2 days of battles so we could do whatever you guys want. that's the idea

It has come to my attention that my weekend event and the 2150 match is the same weekend . Unfortunately i can't reschedule it but this is not a problem.
I will be going all night long anyways and into sunday so come after the tournament or sunday or whenever,even if you don't bring figs i would still enjoy people showing up and 'aving a pint with me.

Wow, total deja vu.... LAST YEAR I skipped a tournament to go to Dalecon at roughly the same time and here we are again...and I'll probably do the same thing.

I think what will happen with me is:
1) will attend 2150 tourney.
2) will convoy over to dale's house for drinks and "one last game" for the day.
3) will stay overnight and wake up in time to have beer for breakfast and game all the next day.

whoa whoa whoa...Is No one going to Dales on Saturday? Originally I was going to do the tourney too. But if everyone is goign to the tourney, I may as well too.

you can go to the tourney or just come over, it doesn't matter.
the answer is a 2 day event,don't worry about food or beer, I'm getting all of that.
If you guys want to stay over sat night, I have plenty of room, or come over sun for breakfast. I just would like to see everyone.
there will be plenty of tables to play, food, drink, and good company. I will have cable by that time so there should be packers on sunday, and chili.
I am gonna miss all you east coasters though, and of course Joseph, but he'll be there next year, and maybe some of you east coasters will come too.

I'm going to be at the tourny saturday, if only because I bought the damned army to feild in it. then I'll prolly stow away in marks trunk to get to dales, and proceed to consume beer and destroy little toy soldiers for the next 30ish hours.

Im going to have some serious updates on big game up on the website before dalecon. But since we're going to mostly be together, I'm going to use dale con as an excuse for a first meeting, instead of trying to organize a girabaldi's meet. We might try for one of those as well, in early january, or we'll just have a forum topic set up for it.
if you're not at dale's that weekend (as I expect most of you east coasters will not be) I'll send any specific info I give out to you via email. I'm hoping to get a good feel for how big our numbers will be by around new years, as that will let me work out any nasty details that come up.

Crap. Uh, just so you know, i'm 20/80 going to the tourney. I like tourneys, but I like rediculous play at friend's houses better.
